This is the one a lot of you have been waiting for. Beacon v1.9 opens us up to the rest of your stack with outbound webhooks and a public REST API.

What shipped

• Public REST API: Read visitors, top pages, referrers, funnels, and any saved report from v1.8 — programmatically, with the same numbers you see in the dashboard.
• Outbound webhooks: Subscribe to events like spike alerts and goal completions, delivered to any endpoint with HMAC signatures so you can verify they're really from us.
• Scoped API keys: Generate keys per site, with read-only or read-write scopes, and rotate them anytime.
• Generous rate limits: 600 requests/minute on Cloud; fully configurable on self-hosted.

Everything is documented, with copy-paste examples in curl, Python, and JavaScript, in the new API reference. Self-hosted instances expose the identical API on your own domain.
