Beacon's built-in reports cover the common questions. But you always have one that's a little different — and until now, answering it meant exporting CSVs. v1.8 fixes that with a brand-new visual query builder.

What shipped

• Visual query builder: Combine filters, group by any dimension, and pick your metric — all by clicking, no query language to learn.
• Saved reports: Name a query, save it, and pin it to any dashboard. Saved reports respect v1.7 roles, so Viewers see them too.
• Live preview: Results update as you build, powered by the same caching layer we shipped in v1.6, so even complex queries stay fast.
• Funnel hand-off: Turn any segment into a funnel step in one click.

We built the query builder on top of our public aggregation primitives, which means everything you can do in the UI maps cleanly onto an API call — handy, given what's coming next. Walkthrough in the query builder docs.
