Changelog #002: Smart Folders
Smart Folders are here!
Hey folks! We just shipped Smart Folders, our most requested feature. No more manually sorting through hundreds of articles—let Moogle Reader do the heavy lifting for you.
What are Smart Folders?
Smart Folders automatically organize your feeds based on rules you set. Think of them as intelligent containers that categorize your content as it arrives.
You can create rules based on: - Feed categories (Tech, Design, News, etc.) - Keywords in article titles or content - Authors you follow - Reading time estimates (quick reads vs. deep dives) - Update frequency (daily, weekly, monthly)
How it works
Set up your rules once, and Moogle Reader automatically scans new articles and places them in the right folders. Want a "Morning Brief" folder with 5-10 minute reads? Or a "Weekend Deep Dive" folder for longer articles? Just set the rules and you're done.
Getting started
Head to your dashboard and click the "Smart Folders" tab. Start simple with 2-3 folders and expand as you get comfortable. You can always adjust your rules later.
We've also added a preview feature so you can see how articles will be categorized before you commit to a rule. No more guessing!
